The week of 10/13

Happy Columbus Day!

Good luck to all sophomores and juniors taking the PSAT's on Wednesday!

Accounting: We will continue our discussion of the lemonade stand.................there will be a test on Friday. We all hope Nick is feeling better..................

English 12: We will continue reading "The Canterbury Tales" this week and completing homework assignments via this blog. Mrs. Mitchell was kind enough to order the DVD that re-tells Chaucer's tale and we are anxiously waiting to see it! If there is anyone who needs to make up work, please see me after class.

English 10: We will continue reading "The Crucible". I think everyone is a little surprised at how steamy the Puritans can get. We will also continue to view excerpts of the movie by the same name starring Winona Ryder. All the people that have had speaking parts so far have been doing a great job!

World History: This week we will complete Chapter 3 and there will be a test at the end of the week. Don't forget to submit your homework to this blog.........it's due on Tuesday. Again, if you don't have access to a computer the library is open before and after school and you can also get a pass to go to the library from lunch.

I HOPE EVERYONE ENJOYS THEIR LONG WEEKEND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congratulations to Sean Connelly for getting all of those Presidential trivia questions right!

If I had to choose between being a Buddhist or a Hinduist, I would be a Buddhist because I would lead a moral life. I would be mindful about my actions. I would pray to one God and not multiple God's. They also find peace within themselves and are very calm and enlightened. Buddhist live by principles that we find in our law and practicle nature they dont steal, lie, and refrain themselves from bad deeds. They lead their lives by karma, "What Goes Around Comes Around."
