Week of 12/15

Accounting: The class will continue to work in their Working Papers books.

English 12: After a review, students will have a short test on Acts One and Two of Macbeth on Wednesday. This is a great opportunity for those who did not do well on their progress reports to bring up their grades.

English 10: Students will have a test on Acts One and Two of "Our Town" on Wednesday.

World History: Students will have an open book/open notebook test on Wednesday. This is a great time for students to pull up their grades. Students who have lost their textbooks are advised to find them for the test. There will be no sharing allowed. Students with lost books should also be aware that they will need to pay for any lost books at the end of the year or they will not be able to take final exams.

After reading and listening today to a good portion of ACT 2 of Macbeth, what can you say is one of the THEMES of the play?

Theme: a dominant idea

For example, one of the themes in Beowulf is: bravery.

Your answer must be at least 3 sentences long and it must be free of spelling and grammatical errors.

Week of 12/8


Accounting: Our accounting class is planning on entering a contest sponsored by FDU/Madison. Winning students recieve cash prizes and will be invited to a luncheon at the campus in the spring. More details to follow.


English 12: We have completed ACT 1 of Shakespeare's Macbeth. Students are getting familiar with the characters and the plot. REMINDER: any incomplete work MUST be handed in at class time on Monday or no credit will be given. No exceptions.

English 10: We are reading the play "Our Town" in class. Students will be making a huge map on Monday, following the description of the town given by the Stage Manager in Act 1.

World History: Students have been learning about ancient Rome and Caesar. This week we will be focusing on the birth of Christ and the beginning of Christianity.
